How do we make alive the Holy Trinity and the work of God in our lives?

The knowledge of God is born out of intense experience of faith.

St. John gave testimony to the coming of Jesus.  When was the last time we gave witness to God?

The revelation of God started with the history of the call of Israel to be "God's people".  The experience of sin even in Israel continued till the time of Jesus.  His resurrection is witnessed by many.  His ascension to heaven was witnessed by many.  St. Paul said, "If Jesus did not rise from the dead, our faith is totally useless."

Yes, we are witnessing to the resurrection of Jesus.  We also aim for the resurrection of our lives.  We are giving witness to the end of sin and sinful inclinations only in Jesus.  So, how do we make the work of God alive in our hearts?  Through the practice of daily life - when we are forgiven of our sins, when we practice forgiveness and not arrogance or pride;  when we give witness to poverty, chastity and obedience each day. We are giving witness to the power of Jesus to save us each day.

We pray that we may manifest more the power of faith to change us only in Jesus Christ through the practice of being Church.

Nag-uumapaw na pag-ibig ng Diyos

Kabanal-banalang Puso ni Hesus John 19:31-37 Sa Dakilang Kapistahan ng Kabanal-banalang Puso ni Hesus, binubuksan tayo sa isang katotohanan na ang Diyos ay pag-ibig; hindi lamang ito pag-ibig sa nibel ng isipan kundi pag-ibig sa mismong nibel ng buhay, nanunuot, nagbabasbas, at namumunga rin ng wagas na pag-ibig. Mula sa unang pagbasa, sa aklat ni propeta Hosea, ang Israel ay tinuring niyang kanyang anak, pinalaya, pinalakad, at tinuruan.   Ngunit nagdurugo ang kanyang puso sa galit; hindi nakikinig and Israel.   Ano ang kanyang gagawin?  Hindi niya sisirain ang Ephraim.  Sapagkat siya'y Diyos, hindi tao. Friday of the 3rd week of Lent Mark 12:28-34 God invites to a new life.  He calls us to forgiveness and conversion. However, we are not faithful to God.  We turn to our wealth, fame, and others for comfort and meaning.  These will not save us.  Only living in God would save us.
