Restoring communion Mark 7:24-30 The first reading talks of the unity between man and woman, "You are the bone of my bone, the flesh of my flesh. Remember that in this state man is still united with God in an unbreakable bond of love and being. Though sin destroyed all these, let us take time to enrich ourselves with this thought about being one with one another and with God.  Isn't this heaven? This unity is brought to completion by Jesus who finally destroyed sin.  He brought us back to God.  Thus, our challenge is to bring back all things to unity with God. Thus, communion entails that we desire for the ultimate good  Let us desire to be united with him, God, and live out the ultimate goodness.  We want to be guided, to breathe the ultimate good, and let him be a part of us; we also desire to be united with others and lead others to God.. Communion with God Matthew 13:36-43 God communicates with Moises in the giving of the 10 commandments. In the gospel, Jesus explains the parable of the darnel in the field, stating that both the wheat and the weeds would be gathered accordingly, the wheat be placed in the barn while the weed gets burnt. Simply put, the evil man is not in communion with God, while the good man is. How do we live a life of communion with God? We live a life of communion with God if we regularly receive the sacraments and be in the state of grace. Second, if we live a life of prayer and our whole lives become prayer or a constant communication and communion with God. Third, if we can meet prayer with action and be Alter Christus , then we are in constant communion with God.

The signs of the resurrection  John 3:7-15 The signs of the resurrection of the Lord in our lives are the following: Unity: "The whole group of believers was united, heart and soul; no one claimed for his own use anything that he had, as everything they owned was held in common"; Proclamation: "The apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power"; and Sharing: "None of their members was ever in want, as all those who owned land or houses would sell them, and bring the money from them, to present it to the apostles; it was then distributed to any members who might be in need. If we are giving testimony to the ones mentioned above, then we are "born again" as described in today's Gospel".

Husband and wife: mirrors of Christ and the Church The Church is a picture of God.  But a way to explain it is through the love that is happening between the husband and wife.  It is so sad to see wounded relationships today. The picture of the husband and wife is the exact picture of Christ and the Church.  The relationship of husband and wife is governed by love, obedience and unity.  These three should also be the qualities of a living Church - with members totally united to God in Spirit and Truth; it totally abides to God's commands in Jesus Christ; and it is governed in every way by faithful love.  If we want to know what Church means, reflect on the love of husband and wife and their relationship to God.

Comunio What is Comunio?  Comunio or Koinonia means "fellowship, sharing in common, communion".  Such is God's will to save us and enable us to be His adopted sons and daughters in Jesus Christ.  he wants us to be in communion with Him.  What are the qualities of Comunio? Comunio destroyed alienation and makes us friends.  Comunio made us citizens with the rights of children.  Comunio made us part of the building of Christ's body. We need to destroy any vestige of sin that alienates us from one another.  We need to destroy the structures of sin that separates us from one another.  We need to create a world where we become the living body of Christ, contributing every time, talent, and treasure to serve God and others.  Grant that as Catholics, we may participate actively in building Christ's body by becoming instruments of communion to others and most of all, to God whom we offer our very lives.

What do we do after the resurrection? It's two days after the resurrection. What has become of us? Peter makes an offer others can't refuse.  What is Easter for us?  That through the communion of God and man in Jesus Christ, our lives are already meant from heaven. Our new vocation is simply to tell the story of Jesus' resurrection.  We tell it through our words and actions.  What seemed impossible is now possible.  We can now live holy lives.  We can generate holiness in the world instead of the usual folly of man.
